I am a huge fan of Balance Me’s Radiance Face Oil, which has been working wonders on my skin, I was excited to try their Super Moisturising Body Wash. It contains no parabens, sulphates (therefore it will not lather as other body washes), petroleum, mineral oils, silicones, dea, pegs, propylene glycol, artificial fragrances and colours. Perfect. The lavender and geranium dominate the first notes of this wash and this is the first time I have used a skincare product with coriander in it. The inclusion of shea butter is supposed to make this wash creamy but somehow I wish it was a shower oil. One of the most annoying aspects of gels and washes (like Como Shambalas’ Invigorating Gel) is the speed at which the wonderful essential oil aromas disappear. Another issue I have is with price and size at £8 this is a splurge item, I have been using this product daily since I received it, and I would say about 30% of the product has already been used; thus a 100ml size would last you at best, probably 3 weeks, and you would have to use it sparingly. Now that’s expensive! Let us consider that I got my Sanex Zero% (it has Sodium Laureth Sulphate but has no parabens, colourants, phthalates and phenoxyethanol) for £0.99 (250ml) as part of a supermarket deal. It is currently on offer at Sainsburys for £0.99. Yes I would love to receive this as a present, but in the current economic climate, it is well out of my price range for a product that is a daily necessity.
